BACKGROUND: History~

WISH: To restore the timeline as well as save Amaya and Stein.

FIT: Jax is superhero -- okay, he's a time vigilante but he goes around with his teammates fixing time screw ups. Practically the same thing! In all seriousness, Jax would be a good fit for Cuddle City because he's loyal, helpful, and a little flirtatious (sometimes a lot ;-)).

His first major act of heroics - before he became Firstorm - cost him his planned future. In going back to help others, when the particle accelerator exploded, he was injured. This left to a loss of scholarship. Jax's emotional priorities are often caring for his mother, doing the right thing, and enjoying being part of a group. Therefore, he would be an excellent fit for the good will component.

As for physical intimacy (whether it be platonic or not), Jax is capable of that as well. Whether it be hugging a teammate or inspiring kisses (to his surprise about the 'forwardness' of girls of 1958).

CONSENT: The closest Jax has come to breaking consent was toward himself. A future version of himself indirectly gave a past version of his partner - Martin Stein - approval for getting past Jax onto the Waverider. In his past, Jax explicitly stated that he didn't want to time travel. Stein roofied him to get him onto the ship.

Jax later forgave Stein. Typically, Jax is respectful of other boundaries. He's expressed disapproval of Rip knocking Sara out when she was seeking answers and to rescue her sister. He was mindful of Betty's emotional distress (and the task at hand) when she impulsively kissed him. And he was once against changing due to the unforeseen consequences (though he ended up breaking that rule for the greater good of the moment, he did drop his new-found belief of continuing doing so).

POWERS/ABILITIES: He is a highly talented mechanic (how many 20 somethings can say they ended up figuring out a futuristic spaceship from reading the manual? Though great advice). He isn't a bad shot. He's all right in hand to hand combat -- he certainly knows how to throw a solid punch. And he is a skilled athlete; his leg aside ("Barry Allen, who?")

Thanks to the particle accelerator Jax is genetically capable of absorbing the Firestorm Matrix along with Martin Stein. Meaning they share a psychic and physical bond -- and when they come into physical contact with each other they can transmute into Firestorm. This cannot happen without Stein. So, none of his abilities can work. Except for being rather resistant to nuclear energies.
