In some ways but there are things that are familiar. I am still adjusting to the new technologies but I'm much better than I was at first.

That is true. It appears, even though the method has changed, the basics of how people want to interact and the things they want are mostly the same.

okay, so first lesson:
there are different ways to pull off emojis
but the tried and true, and the easiest,
is the colon (:) for eyes and a specific key for the mouth.
the dash for the nose is optional.

these days most people use them a lot less than they used to but they're still pretty popular.

I suppose that makes sense. They don't seem to really add very much, though.
